Hi, I’m Jessie!

I’m a registered dietitian, based in Michigan. A true foodie with training and experience in functional nutrition (IFNCP). I want to expand your diet through culinary education.

That saying about skipping the mid-life crisis and heading straight into “granny hobbies”, that’s me! If you feel the same, then you’re my person!

My husband and I continue to grow our baby farm that’s complete with a veggie garden, chicken raising and maple syrup production. I hope to add goats and a greenhouse in the near-ish future.

I want to be your go-to resource for recipes you trust, to preserve your garden harvest, or CSA baskets.

Health really begins from the ground up, let’s gut getting 🙂

Where it all began…

I loved sports! I realized at an early age (like in junior high!) the effects nutrition had on how I felt, and how I played.

I thought I wanted to be the sports dietitian for the Detroit Lions… But God had different plans.

My husband and I have three kids, and having a good understanding of the role gut health plays in their overall health I was on a mission. I know buying probiotic supplements is not only unsustainable, it also may not be best.

So, with my love of gardening and desire to learn new ways to eat probiotic rich foods. I am on a mission to create recipes and resources to share with you to improve your gut health while preserving your garden harvest.
